Half an hour in, I genuinely wanted to stop but I never stop mid-movie, and in this case, I was right to continue. The movie does get better. So yeah… the first 30 minutes - basically the first act - are bad, nearly unwatchable, with bad (over-hectic) pacing, mediocre writing and forced jokes. I have decided for the end of this year, to do a blog post where I recommend stuff I loved this year! For reference, this idea started because someone asked me for movies I actually like (after my last blog post), and when I sent a list and they commented it, I ended up asking “Do you think the only thing I watch is the (mostly slop) I blog about?” ...

The “Project” Introduction I have decided for various reasons to start a rewatch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I have also decided to chronicle my watch-through of them by writing a blog post for every “Phase” of it. I might give up before the end of it (because it’s a lot of mostly mediocre movies), but even if I stop, I still think writing and releasing all my thoughts publicly might be interesting. ...
