Context Over the year I used 5 different registrar, I started by Namesilo (because of the cheap price), with OVH (because of the cheaper price on some TLD), then moved to Gandi (from Namesilo and OVH). I also used Namecheap (an awful registrar), Porkbun and Regery (because of the cheap price on one of the TLD I wanted on a domain I don’t use for now). Gandi has been my main registrar for years for multiples reasons: great UI, great ethic, France based company....

Context This blog post is based on a discussion that took place on Matrix. This discussion was about humanity’s ethics and morality, and the fact that humanity as a whole is screwed because it wont change its ways, and that morality, as a whole, isn’t important to most humans. On June 8, 2023 Invidious received an e-mail from Google/YouTube to ask the project to be stopped. Even though this e-mail is invalid from the start (since Invidious doesn’t use any part of the YouTube API and doesn’t do anything illegal), some people people asked me why I’m not stopping my work on Invidious, so here’s the explanation: The e-mail is addressed “To Whom It May Concern”, the reality is that it doesn’t “concern” me....

I have been for some weeks now, playing the original Doom games. I have now completed Doom (1993) and Doom 2 (1994) (this is the first time I finished them, I did play them before, but never played them in their entirety), and I now started playing Final Doom (1996) (I started with “TNT - Evilution” because it’s the recommended one to start with) and it’s sadly not as good....
